This cache is in the woods that I grew up next to, Hedges Creek. I always liked spending time in this park and would like others to enjoy it as well. The paths here have been getting a bit overgrown lately and need to see some more traffic.
'The Mall' is the second cache I've placed in the park. When we first moved here, this clearing was filled with lots of garbage. Kitchen appliances, tires, furniture etc. Everything you would need was there, like at the shopping mall. This area has seen it's fair share of parties and paintball games - there was even a wrestling ring made out of mattreses at one point. I hid the cache a little ways away from the official mall area since it looks like there's been kids hanging out there recently. If you park on Cooks you'll walk through the mall to get to the cache, and if you park on Dunton the mall is a little further down the trail. Cache is a metal water bottle.
There are numerous ways to enter the park. The official entrance to the park is on the corner of Dunton Avenue and South Country Road, where there is a small parking area on the grass. There is also parking on Cooks Road. Though I've only listed these two, there are other trailheads that lead into this park.
