Ghost Train Traditional Cache
Aarrow9907: Stopped by to check on the ol' Ghost Train. Sadly, it wasn't there. I'm thinking the heavy rain we have a couple weeks ago washed it out of its hiding spot. I've moved since I first placed this cache and its a little far out of my way to manage. I guess it's time to say good bye :(

The cache is hidden in the remains of a derailed train. The train is sitting at the edge of a creek that you will have to cross to reach it. This is a cool little creek if you choose to explore it. Enjoy. There is a first to find prize in the bag with the log. **Congrats to Yueng-me/please on the first to find.**
There are two ways that you can get to the cache. The easy way would be to come into Happy Hollow from the Ester Ridge side. If you are feeling a little more adventurous you can follow Bonnell and run into Happy Hollow on the opposite side. Just a heads up, if you take Bonnell there are three creek crossings and only one has a bridge (if you can call it that). There is parking of sorts on the side of the road near the GZ, just pull off into the clearing and take the path down to the creek *do not park in the campground area across the road*. Once you reach the GZ, you will be looking for a camoed waterproof container that is about the size of a lunchbox. It is located in the remains of a derailed train on the opposite side of the creek from you. I was first shown this area years ago and I have always thought it was really cool. Unfortunately, I have never been able to find any reliable history on why this train is here. My fiance and I sometimes bring our son here and play in the creek so I hope that you enjoy it as much as we have over the years. Please be respectful of the area and place the cache back the way that you found it.
