Way back on September 22, 2010 one of our fellow cachers began a streak for consecutive days with a find. Almost three years have passed since that endeavour began. There must have been plenty of fun family adventures during that time, as well as days that it was darn difficult to squeeze a cache run into. So..as a cacher who has never come close to a month of censecutive finds I've got to tip my hat to Mr. Cool Easy Cache and family (some of the nicest cachers you will ever meet). Last year Dancerman and I created GC3X09G, to comemorate the day.
In recognition of 3 years of consecutive finds, Dancerman and I have placed this cache!!! Congrats to Mr CEC!!!
It sure would be nice if the FTF hounds resisted the instinct to pounce and left the FTF to MR. CEC.....but we'll see how the cards fall.
FTF prize is a Twonie.
P.S. While placing the cache, the owner of the surrounding land came by and was concerned about people dumping garbage. I explained that cachers don't dump, we CITO.
