[LT] Lobis yra extremalus, todėl net nebandykite jo paimti be tinkamo pasiruošimo!
Seniai seniai, dievo Perkūno karaliavimo metais, kai vaidilutės kūreno šventąją ugnį ir žmonės aukodavo gamtos dievams tikėdamiesi jų palankumo, Platelių ežero dievo Ežerinio ir jo pavaldinių laumių ramybę sudrumstė ispanų piratai. Niekas jau nebepamena kaip jie atsirado Platelių ežere. Gal kadaise Platelius jungė vandens kelias su jūra, o gal piratai turėjo kitų gudrybių kaip atkeliauti. Piratai buvo kilę iš katalikiško Ispanijos regiono ir nekreipė dėmesio į vietinių žmonių įspėjimus dėl ežero dievo rūstybės. Jie lėbavo ežere, puldinėjo vietinius žvejus ir nerodė jokios pagarbos ežero dievybėms.
Dievas Ežerinis, nesulaukęs iš piratų aukų ir išvydęs tokią nepagarbą ežerui, nusprendė juos pamokyti ir atvesti į doros kelią. Sukurpė jis šiurpų planą, kuris turėjo pakeist nevidonus. Atvykėliams beplaukiant tarp dviejų ežero salų staiga kilo neperregimo tirštumo rūkas, o tolumoje ėmė girdėtis pasakiškai gražus laumės balsas. Laumė klastingai viliojo piratus į savo buveinę ir taip migdė jų budrumą, tačiau laivo kapitonas Chuanas Kortezas jau buvo susidūręs su jūrų Sirenomis ir žinojo, kuom tai gali baigtis. Kai laumė jau buvo visai šalia jų laivo, jis šliūkštelėjo švęsto vandens tiesiai jai į veidą, ji tik suvaitojo ir nugrimzdo į ežero dugną. Žmonės kalba, kad ir dabar prie salos naktį per pilnatį galima išgirsti laumės dainą, o panėrus į ežero gelmes ant šlaito surasti ir pačią suakmenėjusią Ežerinio pavaldinę.
Toks piratų akiplėšiškumas tik dar labiau supykdė ežero valdovą. Jis nusprendė pats susitvarkyti su nekviestais ežero svečiais. Laivui plaukiant tolyn į ežero vidurį staiga iš gelmių pradėjo veržtis oro purslai, sklisti keista šviesa ir su dideliu šniokštimu iš dugno pasirodė pats ežero šeimininkas. Griausmingu balsu jis atvykėliams rėžė, kad jei jie tuoj pat nepradės atgailauti už laumės nužudymą ir nenusilenks jam, tai jie ne tik praras savo laivą, bet ir jų pačių gyvybės pakibs ant plauko. Laive kilo didžiulis sąmyšis, kai kurie jungos puolė ant kelių ir prašė Ežerinio atleidimo, tačiau kapitonas nepakluso. Švilpdamas ežero vidury kilo sūkurys, kuris įtraukė laivą su kapitonu ir visa įgula. Išsigelbėjo tik keletas jungų valtyje, kurie prisiekė ištikimybę Ežeriniui.
Išsigelbėję jungos perplaukė valtele beveik visą ežerą, kol galiausiai nedideliame gylyje, netoli kranto, jų valtis užplaukė ant povandeninio medžio, pramušė korpusą, neatlaikė ežero bangų plakimo ir nuskendo. Žmonės kalba, kad išsigelbėję piratai sukūrė šeimas su vietinėmis lietuvaitėmis ir įkūrė Paplatelės kaimą. Kai į Lietuvą plūstelėjo krikščionybė, piratų palikuonys norėdami pagerbti savo protėvius ir nuraminti ežerą, į jo vidurį paskandino didelį krikščionybės simbolį – kelių metrų aukščio kryžių.
Legenda apie piratus taip ir baigtųsi, jei ne senas diedukas, kurio proprosenelis savo vaikaičiui nebūtų paporinęs, kad piratai sodyboje ant ežero kranto paslėpė savo lobį, o ežero gelmėse galima rasti užuominas, kaip atidaryti lobio dėžutę.

Pirmąjį skaičių tu surasi ežero gelmėse atradęs suakmenėjusią laumę. Prie jos esančioje lentelėje bus daug skaičių, tačiau prie paskutinių trijų skaitmenų sumos pridėjęs 14, gausi pirmąjį spynos skaičių. Antrąjį skaičių sužinosi suskaičiavęs pirmų dviejų žodžių, esančių antroje paskandinto kryžiaus lentelės užrašo eilutėje, raides. Na o trečiąjį rūpimą skaičių tu surasi pačiame piratų laivo triume. Trijų skaičių žinoti negana, reikia dar žinoti į kurią pusę sukti spynos diską. Kryptis tu gali lengvai surasti sužinojęs piratų klajojimą šio kranto dugne. Pirma tu turi surasti nuskendusį medį, kuris yra į rytus nuo platformos, antroji užuomina, į kurią pusę sukti spyną iki antrojo skaičiaus, slepiasi pačioje piratų valtyje, kuri yra nuskendusi 3 metrų gylyje. Antrąjį skaičių reikia panaudoti dar kartą su kryptimi, kuri paslėpta po pačia platforma. Galiausiai ateis laikas panaudoti trečiąjį skaičių. Kuria kryptimi sukti spynos diską, sužinosi suradęs raitelės skulptūrą ežero gudne. Ji nugrimzdusi į ežerą 5 metrų gylyje ties vieta, kur pasibaigia sąmanų kilimas ir prasideda dumblas. Once upon a time, during the reign of the thunder god Perkūnas, when his priestesses made the holy fire and people brought sacrifice to the gods of nature in order to get favours, the serenity of Plateliai lake god Ežerinis and his minions was disturbed by Spanish pirates. Nobody remembers how they found their way to Plateliai. It might be that long ago the lake was connected to the sea or the pirates used other tricks to get there. The pirates came from a Catholic region of Spain, so they paid no mind to the locals’ warnings on the lake god’s wrath. They debauched by the lake, attacked locals and showed no respect to the gods.
When god Ežerinis did not get any sacrifice from the pirates and saw their disrespect to the holy lake, he decided to teach them a lesson. He elaborated a ghastly plan to change the intruders’ attitude. As they sailed between two of the lake’s islands, suddenly a thick fog came and they heard a distant voice of a pixie, which was the most beautiful sound they ever heard. The priestess hypnotized the pirates and lured them to her den, but the captain Juan Cortez already had some encounters with sea sirens, so he knew what might be in store. When the ship approached the pixie, he poured some holy water straight on her face. She moaned and plunged down to the bottom of the lake. They say that when the moon is full, the pixie’s voice can still be heard by the island, and if one is brave enough, he can find the petrified minion of Ežerinis at the bottom of the lake.
Such insolence enraged the lake’s master even more and he decided to deal with the unwelcome guests himself. As the ship sailed deeper into the lake, suddenly bubbles raised from its depths, there was a strange light and, roaring, puffing and blowing, the master of the lake came up from the bottom of his domain. In his thunderous voice he told the visitors, that if they don’t start to repent for the pixie’s killing and give praises to him, their ship and their lives are on the line. There was a great commotion, some younger pirates got to their knees and begged Ežerinis for mercy, but the captain stood strong. With deafening whistle there appeared a vortex, which sucked the ship in together with the captain and the whole crew. Only several youngsters survived, as they pledged allegiance to Ežerinis.
The survivors in a small boat almost managed to travel across the entire lake, but as they were approaching the shore, the boat clashed with an under water growing tree, which pierced a hole in it. The boat was knocked over by the waves and sank. They say that afterwards the survivors married local Lithuanian girls and built the Paplatelė village. When Christianity started to find its way to Lithuania, the pirates’ descendants, in order to honour their forefathers and soothe the lake gods, drowned a huge symbol of Christianity – a several meters high cross.
The legend would be over, it not for an old-timer, whose ancestor told him that the pirates hid their treasure in the farmstead on the lake shore, and the cues how to open the chest lay at the bottom of the lake.

In order to unlock the chest, upon learning the three numbers, you must turn the lock’s disc three times clockwise, to prepare the lock. You will find the first number by the petrified pixie at the bottom of the lake. The table by the figure will contain lots of numbers, but you can get the first number for unlocking if you add 14 to the total sum of the last three digits in the table. You will learn the second number by calculating the letters of the first two words in the second line of the inscription in the table on the drowned cross. You will find the third number in the hold of the sunken pirate ship itself. It won’t be enough just to know the three numbers, you will also have to know the direction, to which you should rotate the lock’s disc. You will understand the direction by analyzing the pirates’ sailing path at the bottom of the lake. First, you must find the underwater tree, which is located to the East from the platform, the second cue on how to rotate the lock up to the second digit lays in the pirate boat, which is drowned three meters deep. The second digit must be used another time according to the direction, which you will find under the platform itself. Finally, there comes the time to use the third number. You will learn the direction to turn the lock disc to after finding the sculpture of the horse rider at the bottom of the lake. She will be found at the bottom of the lake 5 meters deep by the place, where the moss ends and the mud starts. Have you traced the whole history of the lake pirates and found all the cues?
