About “Big Round (大冷)“

Big Round (大冷), is a common term for local biker, that means "bike around New Territories". There are many different versions for this route, 1 of the most common route, (the one CO usually bike) start from Shatin to Tai Wai, Shum Shui Po, Tsuen Wan, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Sheung Shui, Tai Po and back to Shatin.

The route is created by a group of local bikers at 80s, it is said that former HK top biker, Mr. Hung Chung Yam (洪松蔭), he rode this route every day before work, it took him less than 3 hrs to complete it.

The current route for this series is about 100 km, for slow biker like CO with a mountain bike, the average speed (including rest and meal time) is around 10 km/hr, so it takes around 10 hrs to complete it. Moreover, this route will need to ride on car road, make sure you did all safety procedure before go.

This series is "Spoiler-friendly", you are welcome to post any spoiler information(except bonus), as I want to minimize the time you spend on finding cache, the main idea is enjoy biking.

PS.
1. Safety always come first, please park your bike properly before caching, all traditional caches contain spoiler photo, you should find it instantly.
2. This is my 3rd series, no tricks on that, pretty straight forward, but most locations are quite remote, hope it is a good excuse for you to escape from urban area, time to take some fresh air.

As CO, I was so happy and my honor, as someone got the bonus at the next day after that series was published. I had to emphasis again and again, FTFer only ride on a 16 inch fold bike to grab most of the caches, it was really a legend.
