The growing suburb of Savage has many unique environmental features within its borders, including the Savage Fen, Boiling Springs, and Eagle Creek. The creek is a spring-fed, cold-water stream that supports a small, but self-sustaining population of brown trout and is one of the few remaining streams in the metropolitan area of such character.
This traditional cache is located on city property near the East Branch of Eagle Creek. It is accessible from a trail connection at 132nd Street and Highway 13. Please note that Highway 13 is median controlled at this location and that one cannot access 132nd Street if traveling north. The container is a small camo bottle and is located to be winter friendly.
