Ever lie awake at night wondering how certain guidelines came to be? Do you find yourself daydreaming about internal waypoints to a mystery cache and how to better use them? When a cache is disabled for maintenance does it make your blood boil or are you glad that something is finally being done about that one? No matter where you fall on the issues we all face in the game, there can be little argument that getting together and working through things as friends is a good thing. So I invite you to come on out and join me for a (hopefully) informative discussion about Geocaching, the current and past guidelines, particular issues in Tennessee and where the game is going in the future.
I can't guarantee that it will be entertaining, but I will do my best to answer any questions honestly and respectfully. I know that we can work together to make sure that everyone can walk away with a greater understanding of the game so can get more caches published in Tennessee. I am also extending an invitation to my current and former colleagues to attend, so hopefully, we will be able to get several points of view from the reviewer side as well.
So why am I doing this? I truly believe that sitting down with folks and talking through things is the best way for us all to learn about the game. I can share some of the things I have picked up in my years of playing and reviewing and you can teach me about issues that are specific to your community. I receive a lot of emails asking questions and expressing opinions and many of you from this side of the state have invited me to come over sometime so we can sit and talk about things and hopefully all learn something. So, I am on my way.
