Who lives here?
Agalychnis callidryas or the Red Eyed Tree Frog
Scientists believe the red-eyed tree frog developed its vivid Scarlet Peepers to shock predators into at least briefly questioning their meal choice.
Also these iconic rain-forest amphibians sleep by day up trees - hence the name.
Red-eyed tree frogs, despite their conspicuous colour, are not venomous. At least you better hope not!!
