Geocache Description:

Ammo Box at Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma Council offices. Huge amounts of parking if you are in the right place. Placed in honor of all Girl Scouts ~ past, present, and future. It is in particular honor of all those Girl Scouts & Leaders who are also Geocachers (and there are a lot of them!). Special prizes for 1stTF & 2ndTF GIRL SCOUTS. Log has a place for FTF NON-Girl Scout to sign - mucho congrats (but no prize!) on this one :)

While not a Girl Scout (I was a Camp Fire Girl!), I have enjoyed leading Little Gypsy's GS Troop. Now in 5th grade, they have been together since 1st grade Daisies. We come here fairly often to visit the Council shop, or for training. The Council moved into this nice building just a couple of years ago, and recently completed major renovations. Did you know that GS now offers a Junior Level Badge in GeoCaching? And that is exactly how these Gypsies found this fun new hobby, met great folks, and will soon be on the way to our first Fall Fest! The cache is full of trinket little-girl jewelry and junk, all individually packaged. Please keep in their baggies. These items are for everyone to enjoy and trade. There are also special bags for Girl Scouts to trade badges & fun patches, and to trade SWAPS (if you don't know what SWAPS are, then you probably aren't a GS!).
