ellehcim510: This cache is still in good shape but it is time to make room for something new. Thank you to everyone who visited this cache over the years. I visited the fort grounds today and removed the cache.

Geocache Description:

Keys are often used to gain access to a house or building.  To gain access to this cache, you will need to look for a “house” like one that Native Americans who lived in this area hundreds of years ago would have used (within sight of the cache).  *Please return everything to where you found it!*

Cache is located at the Fort Roberdeau Historic Site and Natural Area.  The park is open from 8AM to sunset, is located on 230 acres of land, and includes trails, picnic areas, and a reconstructed Revolutionary War fort.  Admission is only charged to those wishing to tour the fort (which is not needed to find this cache).  If you do wish to tour the fort, hours and prices can be found on their website.

This cache is placed with permission and collaboration with the fort staff.
