Geocache Description:

A selection of mico and nano caches placed on a short walk around Tatchbury Mount. Please be considerate when parking in residential area and the farmland it takes you through. You will need your own pen and tweezers will be needed for some.

Some footpaths are a little uneven and can become very muddy after bad weather so please go prepared in appropriate footwear.

IT IS IMPORTANT YOU DO NOT DAMAGE THIS AREA, PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL.

The walk will take approximately an hour, taking you along public footpaths, a short stretch along a country lane and around Tatchbury Mount and some sneaky little hides.  Please replace as found and watch for muggles as it can get quite busy with dog walkers!

There a few parking places around the route for one car and a few may be completed as a cache and dash, but if approaching from the residential side you will need to through an underpass which is often used by younger locals in the evenings, so advise caution if attempting this after dark.

Once you're past this it's a lovely walk which you can then include GC3BM0P Bluebell Wood  if you've not already found it.  This area is gorgeous in April when the bluebells are out and takes you around Tatchbury Mount and back through fields.

There is no need to venture too far off the path for #5 but it is very well disguised, hence the difficulty rating.

PLEASE NOTE : IT IS IMPORTANT THE AREA IS NOT DAMAGED IN SEARCHING, THERE IS NO NEED TO LEAVE THE PATH, MOVE, DAMAGE OR DISTURB ANYTHING, THE CACHE IS NOT UNDER ANYTHING AND CAN BE SEEN WHEN KNOWING WHAT TO LOOK FOR.

Please avoid damaging the Bluebells, which since 1998, native bluebells have been protected by Schedule 8 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act (WCA)

There are a couple of stiles to get over so may not be suitable for all.
