St Mary’s in Attenborough is set within a conventional walled and gated churchyard. It is a Grade 1 listed building of outstanding architectural or historical interest. The church consists of a medieval chancel with North vestry – this now houses the organ - and South wall chancel door, clerestoried nave, North and South aisles, South porch, West tower and spire, and West end vestries and galilee added in the 20th century.
