Geocache Description:

A challenge cache to celebrate the 31 Days of August streak

Cache is located at the listed coordinates,
BUT you must fulfill certain requirements to be able to sign the log and get a smiley

I was expecting that Groundspeak would have a souvenir for those of us who completed the 31 days of August geocaching streak, but they didn't. So I placed this challenge cache to reward those who completed it.  If you didn't, don't despair - there are two other ways to qualify for it.

If you have qualified by finding caches on all 31 days of August, you must post a screen grab of your statistics, showing you cached through the month of August, when you log it.  Logs without images or other proof will be deleted.

If you weren't able to cache all 31 days, then you can still qualify by finding the 10 caches I placed to celebrate the 31 days of geocaching,  Here's the first one Here's a cache for the 31 Days of Geocaching - all but one are numbered, and you should be able to figure out which one that is - after all, this is a challenge. You can ignore the puzzle cache in the middle of the sequence (whew!) You can post a bookmark as proof that you found them (or any other way you might devise).

November 25, 2013 addition: If you weren't able to do the first two, then if you have been able to find a least one cache a day for every day in August, regardless of how many years it took you, you can still claim a smiley

If you are greedy for smileys, you can do both and claim 2 finds, and if you find my 12th day cache, you can claim another one as well

Parking and trail head information can be found in the cache description for We'll miss ya, Roz

Cache is a camo'd Tupperware container, hidden on a seldom used "trail" off Saddle Pass trail in the North Ranch Open space (bear to the right after you pass Only Halfway Cache, take 2.  After the first 50 - 100 feet the trail degrades to less than a game trail, with some bush parting required. Long pants and hiking boots recommended. Dollar coin for FTF and a trackable to move along. Difficulty is based on the streak, not the hide (which is 1-1/2 stars). It's about a 1-1/4 mile round trip hike from the trail head.

*****Congratulations to bleed_blue_LA for FTF *****

Happy Caching! A cache a day keeps the doctor away

Feedback is always appreciated on the difficulty/terrain ratings, cache descriptions, etc - thanks.
