The cache has been placed on an area of land that was once a quiet cul-de-sac in wednesbury built on mines and an area known as the valley - yes a dirty great hole!!
in the 1980s Round Oak road had to be demolished due to sunsidence and the mines infilled...A friend of mine at school actually lived in one of the houses destroyed and said he could always see the Black Church clock on St Barts from his bedroom window..one morning when he opened his curtains he couldnt see it anymore..just the roof!!
The area now is public space and attracts beautiful wildlife from foxes hedgehogs bats and squirrels
