On Moss Rd once the site of the Ravensworth Golf Club Clubhouse it was pulled down after a recent fire a few years ago. The Clubhouse was relocated to the Long Bank (not far from Geocache Cash Machine). You can take a walk past the new build houses which are where the old Clubhouse used to be and continue across the bridle path across the golf course, with scenic views of the Team Valley and the Angel of the North.
I thought this would be a perfect linking Cache between other local Caches in the area.
Bit of a sneaky one! You may find this one a bit harder to find, but be assured it's lurking in the wood. Accessable from the road, no need to enter the golfcourse for this one!
