In the animated feature film, "Cars," Radiator Springs is the name of a fictional town that was left in the dust with Main Street shops suffering for lack of business when the interstate came through, re-routing traffic away from the quaint town.
Milbank is located along US Hwy 12, the first coast to coast highway in the United States. While US 12 is still well traveled, Milbank is halfway between I-90 and I-94, greatly diminishing tourist traffic through this quaint little town. Through the efforts of many, this Main Street is stil hanging in there, and from this cache you can see businesses that are older and still here, a business that is thriving and remodeling, and a business that has closed up shop.
