This is another cache for the Bass Coast Rail Trail series. This cache marks my 290th hide only 10 to go till the big 300 hide and maybe an event to celebrate it. It is the only coastal rail trail in Victoria and is very well used by walkers and bike riders. The rail trail extends 16 plus kms from Woolamai rd to Wonthaggi. This trail is well know for the trestle bridge that is at Kilcunda. Thanks to Zobo04 for helping with this hide.
In the warmer months please keep and eye out for snakes along the trail.
There are several access points for parking along the rail trail.The Anderson round-about, Mitchell mine area kilcunda, Kilcunda near trestle bridge, Powlett River road, Station Street Dalyston and Daly street Dalyston, Lower Powlett road Wonthaggi and South Dudley road in Wonthaggi.
This cache is near a bank you do not need to go down back cache is on edge of trail. This cache is a micro so you will need to BYO pen. You may need a tool to help extract the log. Happy Hunting.
