Somerville Park is a fairly large park located at the bottom of the suburb of Winthrop. The park features a large area of grass which is a great place to let the dog or even your geokiddies go for a run. There are also football goalposts at the park. There is also a fenced area of the park which includes a nice playground area and swingset with plenty of space to fun around inside the fenced area. A gazebo with benches and lighting is located at the northern end of the park. A BBQ, picnic table and drink fountain including a dog bowl are all located in the centre of the park. The park has lighting along all pathways and benches and bins are frequent throughout the park. Parking is available on the northern side of the park along Ten Seldam Circle, and from there is approximately 150 metres to the cache. Otherwise you can park on Stanley Court metres from the cache which is located on the west side of the park. Winthrop Shopping Centre is also located about ~250-300m from the cache containing other facilities.
THE CACHE
The cache is a black bison tube.
When replacing the cache, ensure that it isn't visible. And a heads up for smaller cachers out there, it could be out of your reach.
Good Luck & Have Fun!
