This is the first cache we have created. It is located fairly close to the trail, so no major bushwacking should be needed.
FTF will have a nice surprise.
This a large Plano waterproof plastic ammo box, with supply of prizes and the log book. I also left a stack of "what is geocaching" info cards in a ziplock bag in the top tray of the container.
Please take care to replace any incidental cover. The box is pretty large and we wouldn't want any muggles to poke at it.
This cache is called "If At First" because we went out to the park with the intent of placing a cache on a certain trail loop.
When we hit that portion of the trail we saw a fantastic place to hide a cache. I mean, it was perfect. I wish I could describe it better, but..that wouldn't be fair to the group that found it first.
When we approached the area, we were both surprised and amused to find the Crappy Doll House 2-stage caches final endpoint. So we scored the find and set out for a new location. We felt a bit guilty for finding the end point without actually doing the multi point, but a find is a find I suppose.
We found a decent secondary option on the way back, very kiddo friendly, and the current trove of prizes are geared towards kids.
