White Reservoir Dam is located just 3.4 miles from Westhampton, in Hampshire County, near Southampton. The reservoir, which holds approximately 500 million gallons when full, was drained in 1985 after the construction of the 4.8-million gallon Tighe-Carmody Reservoir, which now supplies Holyoke's water. The masonry dam is 80 or 90 years old.
