It's time again for the premier geocaching event in Eastern New Mexico
20+ new caches of a unique style will be released for the event. In addition, there are 2 newly transferred in military geocachers who have put out over 30 new caches in the last few months and a couple of newbies who have put out a few, as well as some of my own. This means that there will be about 70 new caches for those that haven't been back to Clovis since last year's Flurry for a total of over 250 caches in Curry County for anyone who hasn't been here before.
The plan: meet up at 9:00 am at the specified coordinates. (Surprise-Surprise: We will have an indoor facility this year, even though the weather hasn't stopped us in the past) Tentative plans to have a burrito breakfast with hot coffee and OJ and plenty of time for socializing. At 10:00 am, event info will be given out.
Then, meet back at the facility by 4:00 for prizes and a potluck picnic. I will provide meat for the BBQ. I'll have plates and napkins, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and mayo. Attendees, bring side dishes, drinks, desserts, buns, flatware, etc. Please indicate what you'll contribute and how many are in your group in your "Will Attend" log.
Also, since this a low budget event, please bring a prize to donate that you would be willing to win for a door prize ticket.
