There are a couple of restrictions of this park:
1) There are no pets allowed.
2) The park is open only in the daytime and the gates are locked at night. Thanks to Decer for the following image.
Wy-Hit-Tuk Park is a 23-acre Northampton County Park located along Route 611, 2 miles south of the Forks of the Delaware Recreation Area in Easton. It is usually a quiet place but can become busy on weekends during the warmer months with picnickers. Wy-Hit-Tuk is a good area for bird watching. The Delaware River is an important component of the Atlantic Flyway, one of four major waterfowl routes in North America. Look for Belted Kingfishers, Swallows, Yellow Warblers, Wood Thrushes, Hawks, Vireos, Baltimore Orioles, Eastern Phoebes, Scarlet Tanagers and more. Fishing opportunities exist in the canal and there are several access shore points within walking distance to the Delaware River. The towpath is a good place to walk or bike ride.
This is a small lock and lock container close to the parking area. It is hidden kind of in the open and should be easy to find. There is a log in there. Cachers will need to bring their own pen. The container is large enough for swag and bugs/ coins.
