Geocache Description:

Come and see Flemish Renaissance architecture in Towanda. Frank R Wells decided in 1897 that Towanda needed a library, and not only donated the land, but planned and built it also. He had a very successful career with Western Electric and as vice-president he built many factories in Europe and established telephone systems in major cities there. He lived in Antwerp, Belgium and Paris, France which may explain his choice of Flemish Renaissance architecture.

 

This is a small size container which holds a pencil, log book, and a few trinkets. One of our young patrons likes to do origami and we will enclose one every month.This month is a Dragon! So watch out when opening the container!!! This cache has been placed with the permission of the board of trustees, and the staff is aware of it.

If it is open come on inside and see the wonderful woodwork and fireplace!

The hiding place has been exposed by over zealous gardeners!! so please re hide the same way you find it. hopefully the vines grow fast! 10/7/15
