Geocache Description:

**FOR NOW, PLEASE TAKE PEN UNTIL WE CAN GET BACK TO THE CACHE TO REPLACE PENCIL - THANKS** Ripon is a cathedral city, market town and successor parish in the Borough of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. The city is noted for its architecturally significant cathedral, as well as the Ripon Racecourse and other features such as its market and grammar school. The city itself is just over 1,300 years old.  Ripon is the fourth smallest city in the United Kingdom.

 

The cache is a medium-sized tupperware box hidden on rural Little Harries Lane, accessible from Kirkby Road.  It is possible to park on Little Harries Lane itself.  The cache itself is hidden a short walk after the road ends, where there is an extensive view of surrounding countryside.

This cache was placed by two people who both grew up in Ripon, but whose lives became intertwined 20 years later, and have many memories here, both separately and together.
