This part of the Waterfall Way meanders between the World Heritage listed Dorrigo National Park to the north and the Bellinger River National Park to the south. Driving up this road allows glimpses of sprawling forests and stunning mountain scenery. Care must be taken when driving this narrow road as there are numerous sharp corners and steep inclines.

At an altitude around 500 metres is Newell Falls. Here there is a car park that allows drivers to stop and properly appreciate the views down the valley and admire the cascading Newell Falls. So stop, stretch your legs and grab the cache. BYOP.
