Geocache Description:

Another cache is my Cemetery Series

The Silver City Cemetery is on a small hill to the right and is visible from the paved road. Some references and maps call the cemetery the Sitzer Gulch Cemetery but it is known in the area as the Silver City Cemetery. The name was chosen in 1869 because a man named Silver lost his wife while they were traveling by horseback through this country and he buried her along a stream later named Silver Creek -- where gold was later discovered -- to commemorate her interment. There are many sunken unmarked graves.

Cache should be and easy P&G. Please bring a scribblin' stick
