Stayed at the Ford Forestry Cabin, and decided to put a cache here. This is a gorgeous area of good hiking and fishing. The cache is a small camo container. You will need a pen. It is on the northfork of the Flathead river. This is a good place to put in your boats too!
The colors in the fall are awesome. We saw elk, deer, and a very friendly fox that was looking for hand outs. There was a picture of a grizzly in the cabin we stayed in. This is definetly bear country, so be careful and stay bear aware at all times!!! We also saw some moose tracks, but didn't see them. Looked like maybe a cow and her calf.
