Geocache Description:

Time is on my side, yes it is
Time is on my side, yes it is
Now you all would say
That you wanna be free
But you'll come running back

Mick Jagger did not have a hand in writing 'Time Is on My Side.' None of the Rolling Stones did. The band's first Top 10 U.S. hit was recorded by R & B singer Irma Thomas earlier in the same year. The band was undoubtedly influenced by her version, especially Mick, who checks in with his first truly great vocal, nailing the soulful edge infused with a side of gospel.

The U.S. version was released on September 26, 1964 as a single and peaked at number six on the U.S. Billboard Pop Singles Chart to become the Rolling Stones' first top ten hit in the U.S. (their previous single, "It's All Over Now", had only peaked at number 26). When they performed "Time Is on My Side" during their first guest spot on The Ed Sullivan Show, Sullivan was shocked by their appearance, because long hair on men was considered outrageous to older people in the US at that time, and he declared that they would never be invited onto the show again, but he subsequently invited them back several times.
