Geocache Description:

Magnetic tin that will hold small swag items

You will find, in any Mason's Lodge, A Few Good Men who are taking time to serve their communities with works of charity. This is placed a location I visit and have assisted in some of the degree lecture lecture work since I live nearby. This is part of a continuing series that I have placed at similar locations, and I will be placing more as I go, to raise the awareness of this great organization that is often overlooked and/or ignored. If you live in Oklahoma and watch much Educational TV on OETA, then you may have heard credits at the opening of many shows that the particular program is being brought to you by generous donations from the Masonic Fraternity of Oklahoma. This is just one of countless ways that the Mason's try to help. Have your children ever had their eyes examined while at school? In many communities the local/area Masons are there helping out. Have you ever heard of the Shriner's Hospital? They are a branch organization of the Masons. Hopefully this will encourage you to learn more about these good men and give you reason to support their work in the future. And even if it doesn't, I hope you find this cache fun to locate. The existence of the masonic fraternity in the United States goes back to a time before the Revolution and the break from England. Even a vast number of our founding fathers were members of this fine organization including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin.

When I visited here to place the cache, they were holding an open house and I was pleased to once again meet a brother mason, and former state representative, the honorable Ed Cannady.  It was my honor to sign their guest book with him as we had not gotten to visit for about 4 or 5 years.  We  had last visited at a District dinner at my home lodge in Keota where you will find A Few Good Men #286, GC46JXC.  He is a member in Stigler where you will find A Few Good Men #121, GC4DWNJ.
