If you are camping at the Anthony Chabot campground then this is within "Cavalier range". No day use here but you can hike from the lake to make the find. Our dogs are not known for hiking great distances without a break. This bench, located on the Columbine trail, provides a perfect spot to rest and take in a view of the lake and city scape beyond. This beautiful trail is part of the 8.5 mile Lake Chabot Hiking Trail around the lake.
The cache is a simple hide to showcase the view where we always stop to give the dogs a break. No room for trade items but a lucky buck for FTF. Bring your own pen and enjoy the view.
