Tumbulgum (Tum-bul-gum) is 150 YEARS OLD this year... Happy birthday, Tumbulgum Village.
The hall has served the community for 100 years and has been the venue of many social activities important to the residents of this small community. The hall celebrated its centenary on the first weekend in October 2013.
The village had played an important role in the early history of the Tweed Valley. The cedar getters first arrived in the early 1840’s and the first public school in the Tweed Valley opened its doors in 1872.
