Geocache Description:

At the Cache location you find over 100-year-old cedar planks. These are remnants from a time before paved roads.

Elevated boardwalks were used to build and operate a lighthouse of 1906, a telegraph office and a radio station. Supplies were delivered by steamship, then pushed on

hand carts along the boardwalks.

From Spring Cove to Amphitrite Point.

World War II created a need for more capacity. So a plank road was built.

The cache is a brand new Petling. So it doesn’t attract wildlife. ;o)

You don’t have to leave the path! It would not make sense for finding the Cache!

If you find trash remember the cache in, trash out idea!

A spoiler will be added, but it should be a easy find.

Please put back at exactly the same place and hide it again.

Maintenance will be done by our lovely Cottage renter! Thanks for that!

Now go on and get it!
