This wacky cruise ship will be heading north to visit Scandanavia and the land of the Vikings!
Sweden's climate and location are largely responsible for the development of its cuisine. During the Viking era, these ruthless crusaders embarked on raids all across Europe, invading lands as far south as the Mediterranean Sea. Over time, various foods such as tea from England, French sauces and soups, and honey cakes from Germany were brought back to Scandinavian territory and incorporated into the diet.
The menu for this port of call is a smörgåsbord of dishes, including salmon, dumplings, potato fritters, crispbread, lingonberry jam, and of course, Swedish meatballs. The restaurant is on the Second Floor of the building.
