This cache is just off a nice dirt bicycle/hiking trail in Folsom Lake State Park.
For no fee access to the Park, park on Sophia Pkwy at Green Valley Rd and walk up the gravel road to the North. Take the first small trail to the right which goes to the main trail. The trail goes through wooded areas and has nice views of the Lake. Turn on to an obvious smaller trail on the right that goes up the hill. This junction is at approximately N 38 42.476 W 121 6.496. The cache is about 30 feet off of this trail with easy access.
It is a bit of a climb up the hill but the views are worth it.
Rattlesnakes populate the land in this part of the State. They are sometimes seen in this Park. Please take snake precautions.
