The cache is hidden in the Highveld/Techno Park Bird Sanctuary. This is a beautiful area that is home to many different types of bird species. While we were planning and placing the cache we noticed that there are alot of Crowned Lapwing that breed here. They breed during the Spring Months from July to October. They normally lay about 3 eggs and would mock charge a human when you get close to their eggs. There are various other bird species here, so enjoy the bird life and have fun.
This is a 3 Stage Mutli Cache. The coordinates for Stage 1 is given to you, please bring a pen, paper and your cellphone with. Please park at the parking waypoint.
Do NOT attempt this cache at night as it could be dangerous, there could be muggles here at night. It is recommended not to come alone (although we have never seen any muggles here in the past), the choice is yours.
When you retrieve Stage 2 move slightly around the corner out of sight of the nearby business park. We don’t want any muggles to see the object. Please be patient at Stage 2, there is a specific way that you need to remove the container. Please be gentle with the object and dont bump it to get the container out.
**Note: There is no need to climb down anything. The instructions in Stage 2 might not be required by some people but will be more fun if you do it.
Permission for this cache was granted by Tshwane Parks and Recreation.
