Geocache Description:

A cliff walk at Inch beach near Whitegate. Walk up the steps and cycle or walk along the cliffs to “the 40 steps” While young kids will have to turn back at the 40 steps, the more adventurous of you will be able to walk down, see the cove and hopefully find the cache. Warning this is quite steep so be safe!

Confusingly marked as Ballintra on the map this is locally known as Inch Beach.

Probably one of the prettiest beaches in the area it is popular with everyone from surfers to dog walkers. A beach of two halves, one side is sand backed by rushes and a small river while the other has interesting rock formations jutting out into the bay backed by small cliffs and dunes, making an ideal platform for high angle shots. A cliff walk offers more dramatic views of Power Head promontory to the East. Two separate roads access either end of the beach.

The cache is located at the bottom of the "40 steps". Well done to irlgoh and irlcgoh on the first to find.
