C.A.K.E. Crusaders: Sadly after 5 years it is time to put this series to bed - I simply do not have time to keep it maintained to a standard that I am happy with or that cachers deserve.

Thanks to all the cachers who have found one or more of the series for their logs (I have read every one over the years), kind comments and particularly fave points.

Geocache Description:

This is the 14th in a series of 26 caches (one for each letter of the alphabet) which completes a circular walk of around 5 miles in the Hensol Forest and Hensol Park area of the Vale of Glamorgan.  The walk uses forest tracks, quiet lanes and public footpaths with the terrain being relatively easy although in a couple of places it can get quite boggy after wet weather.  Due to stiles and gateways it is unsuitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

To reach this cache you will need to follow the public footpath which skirts the edge of the Vale golf course and the passes between trees before crossing a stile into a lane.

The cache is a nano container placed on a public footpath that skirts the Vale golf course (You do not need to go onto the golf course itself to retrieve the cache). Due to the proximity with the golf course stealth may be required.  It only contains a log strip so please bring your own pen(cil) to sign the log.  Please ensure the cache is replaced as found and is well hidden.
