Une cache pour célébrer le col de la Core (1395m) et aussi (et surtout !) entrer dans le jeu si sympathique des caches (vers l'étang d'Ayes) placées par Baraca31 et les Tétras. ;-)))

Le col de la Core est un col pyrénéen situé dans le département de l'Ariège et le pays du Couserans entre les villages de Bethmaleet Sentenac-d'Oust.
Le col et ses environs sont couverts de pâturages et servent d'estives pour les bovins qui produisent le lait utilisé dans la fabrication du fromage de Bethmale.
Il est le départ de nombreux chemins de randonnée (chemin de la Liberté, étang d'Ayes), il jouit aussi d'un large panorama avec des points et tables d'orientation installés.
Il est aussi connu pour être un passage privilégié du Tour de France avec six ascensions depuis 1984, la dernière remontant à l'été 2011.

A cache to celebrate the pass of the Core (1395m) and enter the friendly game  of the  caches (to the Pond of Ayes) placed by Baraca31  and les Tétras.


The pass of the Core is a Pyrenean pass located in  Ariege and Couserans, between  the villages of Bethmale and Sentenac-d'Oust.
The pass and its surroundings are  covered with pastures and are used as  summer pastures for the cattle that produce the milk used in the manufacture of Bethmale cheese.
It is the start of many hiking trails (Chemin de la Liberté, pond of Ayes), it also has a wide panorama with many viewpoints.  It is also known to be a privileged route of the Tour de France with six ascents since 1984, most recently in the summer of 2011.
