The pass of the Core is a Pyrenean pass located in Ariege and Couserans, between the villages of Bethmale and Sentenac-d'Oust. The pass and its surroundings are covered with pastures and are used as summer pastures for the cattle that produce the milk used in the manufacture of Bethmale cheese. It is the start of many hiking trails (Chemin de la Liberté, pond of Ayes), it also has a wide panorama with many viewpoints. It is also known to be a privileged route of the Tour de France with six ascents since 1984, most recently in the summer of 2011.
Many muggles come there on nice days. Thank you for being stealthy! Enjoy!
