C.A.K.E. Crusaders: Sadly after 5 years it is time to put this series to bed - I simply do not have time to keep it maintained to a standard that I am happy with or that cachers deserve.

Thanks to all the cachers who have found one or more of the series for their logs (I have read every one over the years), kind comments and particularly fave points.

Geocache Description:

This is the 21st in a series of 26 caches (one for each letter of the alphabet) which completes a circular walk of around 5 miles in the Hensol Forest and Hensol Park area of the Vale of Glamorgan.  The walk uses forest tracks, quiet lanes and public footpaths with the terrain being relatively easy although in a couple of places it can get quite boggy after wet weather.

NOTE THE AREA AROUND GZ AND UP TO VALE VIEW IS VERY BOGGY AFTER THE ENDLESS RAIN - BEWARE.

The cache is a small container hidden by a public footpath.  The public footpath just before GZ can be quite boggy and crosses a green lane - that appears to turn into a stream in winter. It is somewhat boggy hence the terrain rating (note - there is a gate into the correct field a few yards up the lane) - It is NOT accessible by wheelchair or with a buggy.  

Be aware that livestock may in the fields which the public footpath you are walking on crosses. You will need to bring a pen(cil) to sign the log as the cache only contains the log book.  Please ensure the cache is well hidden when replacing.

New location for cache due to original location turing into a mud bath because of horses being fed there.
