l Palazzo dell'INPS si estende dalla piazza delle Nazioni Unite, ex piazza delle esedre, fino a Via Ciro il Grande, nel quartiere EUR. Il palazzo è stato progettato da Giovanni Muzio, Mario Paniconi, Giulio Pediconi nel 1939 come "quinta architettoniche" per la porta imperiale, in simmetria col prospiciente palazzo dell'INA. La superficie è di 7.700 m². Il fabbricato è di cemento armato ricoperto di marmo delle Alpi Apuane. La facciata è su tre livelli con pilastri in due ordini al pian terreno. Entrambi i palazzi dell'INPS e dell'INA formano dei bacini semicircolari su cui vi sono dei giochi d'acqua che riempiono le due esedre. Le quattro testate dei palazzi ospitano degli altorilievi del 1941. Il palazzo, e le palazzine intorno sempre di proprietà dell'Istituto, sono adornate da marmi policromi e bassorilievi vari. The INPS building extends from the United Nations' square , former known as "piazza delle Esedre (exedras square)" to Via Ciro il Grande, in EUR district . The building was designed by Giovanni Muzio , Mario Paniconi , Julius Pediconi in 1939 as an architectural background for the imperial gate (fascist age) in symmetry with the facing building of the INA (Istituto Nazionale delle Assicurazioni). The land area is 7,700 sqm. The building is made of reinforced concrete covered with marble of the Apuan Alps . The facade is on three levels with pillars in two rows on the ground floor. Both INPS and INA buildings shape semi-circular basins where there are fountains that fill the two exedras. At the four heads of the buildings there are reliefs of 1941. The palaces and other buildings around the Institute, are decorated with various colored marbles and bas-reliefs. (by wikipedia)
