Geocache Description:

So I decided to do a little geocaching education series. I am calling this series the "Daily Word" series. I beleive it is always a good thing to learn a new thing every day, so this is my contribution. I hope you enjoy.

 

Todays word is "Albedo"

  \ al-BEE-doh \  , noun;

the white, inner rind of a citrus fruit.
2.
Astronomy.  the ratio of the light reflected by a planet or satellite to that received by it.
3.
Meteorology.  such a ratio for any part of the earth's surface or atmosphere.
