Water Tube at Hensol Traditional Cache

This is the 23rd in a series of 26 caches (one for each letter of the alphabet) which completes a circular walk of around 5 miles in the Hensol Forest and Hensol Park area of the Vale of Glamorgan.  The walk uses forest tracks, quiet lanes and public footpaths with the terrain being relatively easy although in a couple of places it can get quite boggy after wet weather.  Due to stiles and gateways it is unsuitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

You will need about 1 litre of water to retrieve this cache and therefore be able to sign the log.  Once you see it you'll know what to do.

The cache is reached along the public footpath into Hensol Forest.  Once at the clearing just short of GZ, the footpath (the entrance of which is a little overgrown) is a bit to the left of the fire road - approx 10 o'clock if the fire road is noon. GPS signal is not great under the trees so you'll have to hunt around a little bit but the cache is fairly obvious.  You will need to bring a pen(cil) to sign the log as the cache only contains the log strip.
