Xtreme at Hensol Traditional Cache

This is the 24th in a series of 26 caches (one for each letter of the alphabet) which completes a circular walk of around 5 miles in the Hensol Forest and Hensol Park area of the Vale of Glamorgan.  The walk uses forest tracks, quiet lanes and public footpaths with the terrain being relatively easy although in a couple of places it can get quite boggy after wet weather.  Due to stiles and gateways it is unsuitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

This is the most challenging of the caches in the series and will require some significant thought to get the find.  There is a difficult way and an easier way - The choice is yours.  As with all geocaches, you make your own choices on how to retrieve a cache and it is entirely at your own risk to do so.  If you have any doubts then walk away.  

The cache is just off a fire track in Hensol Forest - right hand side.  GPS signal is not great under the trees so you may have to hunt around a little bit.  You will need to bring a pen(cil) to sign the log as the cache only contains the log strip.  Please replace the cache carefully so that it doesn't break.
