The story is loosely based on an unsolved murder mystery, “Taman Shud”. This man was found dead at 6:30 a.m., December 1, 1948, under a street lamp at Somerton Beach in Australia. All of his clothes' identification marks had been removed. Although police were able to place the jacket as being from America, dental records and fingerprints didn't match anyone there...or anywhere else in the world, for that matter.
This cache is going to send you all over the web and you might learn a thing or two along the way. This mystery is meant to be fairly difficult and should take you to some interesting sites on the web before you are able to solve the final location of the cache.
This cache can be done anytime, but preferably on a Saturday, where you can enjoy the renown Sedgefield Market (this is not a hint to the cache location!). Get there early and pick up some fresh produce from the Farmer's Market, browse the stalls and meet some locals! A great place for kids of ALL ages.
The owners know of the cache and might even invite you into their garden and home to view their wares. The scenario for this cache mystery is as follows. Detectives on the case have come up with a body with no identifying marks (photo removed for sensitive cachers), but with the items listed below at the positions shown around the body. It seems that there was some thought put into the placement of these items and they have been labelled according to the positions where they were found around the body. My opinion – I think the killer, or maybe even the mysterious dead man is trying to provide clues to where something of importance may be located. Can YOU solve the mystery?
