Geocache Description:

The cache is at the listed coordinates. To log this cache
you will need to first fulfill the requirements.

Do you lighthouses? Do you love geocaching? Well then this challenge is for you!

The Challenge:
Log at least 12 caches located at or very near 12 different Washington Lighthouses or find caches at lighthouses in 5 different state/provinces/countries.

Some of the lighthouses will only have one qualifying cache while others that are located in some parks will have more than one qualifying cache. Even with the lighthouses with more than one qualifying cache you still may only claim one cache per lighthouse. It just gives you more options for qualifying. Here are the lighthouses located in parks with more than one qualifying cache:

• Lime Kiln Lighthouse at Lime Kiln SP
Any cache in the park qualifies.
• North Head Lighthouse
Located at Cape Disappointment SP
Any cache in the park qualifies.
• Patos Island
Patos Island SP
Any cache on the island counts
• Point Wilson Lighthouse
Ft. Worden SP.
Any cache in the park counts.
• Ft. Worden SP.
Any cache in the park counts.
• Admiralty Head Lighthouse
Fort Casey SP.
Any cache in the park.
• Point Robinson Lighthouse
Any cache in the park.

or see my booklist to distinguish the difference. I've made a bookmark to help you find them here:
hydnsek, (thank-you!), has also compiled an extensive booklist far superior to mine that can be found here:

Rules:
  • With the exception of Skunk Bay lighthouse only legitimate lighthouses built for marine uses qualify and must be listed on the lighthouse friends list. See link.
Another excellent lighthouse resource list is found here
    • Please refer to my list or booklist to see which lighthouses are located at parks that may have more than one qualifying cache. Otherwise only the booklisted cache qualifies for that specific lighthouse.
  • Archived caches are also acceptable provided you logged it prior to archiving. However you may only use one cache for each lighthouse, archived or active!
  • With the exception of Event caches any other type of geocache is acceptable.
  • In the event that a geocache located near or at a lighthouse is archived the next closest geocache within reason will be acceptable.
  • Provide a list of your lighthouse finds in your online log. Include: Lighthouse name, Cache GC#, Cache Name, and Date Found. Or create a booklist including that information with this cache listed at the top of the list.

The posted difficulty is to accomplish the challenge. The posted terrain is for the final

Warning: Challenges come with a unique set of rules and must be met
before successfully logging. Failure to comply will result in a log deletion.
