This cache is located at the now abandoned American Legion Post in Jeffrey City, Wyoming. Jeffrey City is pretty much a ghost town now with only a few residents who live here. Close by this location is the Split Rock Bar and Cafe which is a good place to stop and have a cold one or to grab a bite to eat. There is a lot of history here at this bar/café.
Jeffrey City once was a thriving little community that started when uranuim was found and the need for uranium was at a boom during the Cold War. Close to this cache is another one that I placed which is next to an information sign that explains more about the history of this all but forgotten town.
This is a log only cache. I rated this at a difficult rating due to me thinking that if I was looking for this one I would find it difficult. Please bring a pen to sign the log and happy caching!
