This is part of the Lost Country School series originally placed for The Gnomes Bewitching Cache Bash. Due to placement availability all LCS caches are placed within 1 mile of school location.
The Sunshine School was located on the north side of Cass City Rd. between Dosser Rd and McGregory Rd. and was in Elmwood Twp. Students from this school completed 8th grade and went on to Cass City High School to complete their education.
Papa Gnomes Great Grandfather was a circut preacher and this was his home church on Sunday. When the school closed, the attendees of this facility merged into what is now the Sutton Sunshine United Methodist Church on Colwood and Dutcher Rds.
