Geocache Description:


Elijah Bristow arrived in what is now Pleasant Hill back in 1846 after a long westward journey from Illinois. As soon as he arrived on the small hill populated with large oaks and rolling grasses, he knew this was where he wanted to lay claim. As one of the first founders of the Willamette Valley, Elijah Bristow helped build the town of Pleasant Hill into what it is today.
