Geocache Description:

Zombies is a board game I used to play in my uni days.< br>This wherigo is not actually based on the board game at all - but rather on the fact that every time I go to this side of Christchurch, it looks like there has been a zombie attack. Who knows how long it will remain like this for. Enjoy this wherigo, but do spare a thought for those affected by the earthquakes.



Christchurch has become infested with zombies!! And now your house is no longer safe either!
Knowing that zombies cannot swim, you figure that the safest place is the Bexley Wetlands. You've heard of a resistance force there. You grab a few supplies to get you there into your backpack, and then leave at low tide to not get too muddy.

Tips:
  1. Whatever you do, do not enter the infested zone - further east than the Avon, further west than Anzac Ave - there are too many zombies to fight off here, and you will become one of them instantly.
  2. Other than this, you have 3 lives before you become a zombie. Once you have no lives left and are a zombie, you will not be shown the coords even if you do make it to the safe zone - zombies are not allowed to geocache. You will have to re-start your game.
  3. A car will not help you.
  4. There are hidden zones which can contain zombies. Once you activate one, RUN to the safe zone which will appear in your locations. Otherwise you will lose a life.
  5. Be careful with your food and water rations, watch your health, and be aware that once your health runs out, you lose a life. You also cannot have a health larger than 100, so if your health is high, it is pointless to waste your water.
  6. Once you arrive at a safe zone, take a look around! There may be things that are useful to you in the safe zone....


Do not underestimate how tough this game is... the time I didn't grab any of the extra items from the safe zones, I only barely made it to the wetlands! And I know the zones well! So study the map that is in the attached images. :)
