We are pleased to announce a new addition to Oregon’s premier GeoTour.
The Eugene, Cascades & Coast GeoTour - Oakridge/Westfir Edition will launch October 26. Join us at Oakridge’s family-friendly Brewers Union Local 180 from 9-11 a.m. to pick up tour passports and the list of new caches. Fall is our favorite time to explore the Cascades. We invite you to take in the fall colors in Oregon’s Cascade mountains while visiting roaring rivers, majestic lakes and sparkling waterfalls and exploring local history along Highway 58.Complete the Oakridge/Westfir Edition passport by finding 24 of the 36 caches and earn a truly unique wooden trackable created by a local craftsman.
The Eugene, Cascades & Coast GeoTour stretches from the Oregon Coast to the crest of the Cascades. Organized in three editions – Oakridge/Westfir, Florence and McKenzie River- each has a separate passport and trackable you can earn. Trackables are still available from the McKenzie River and Florence Editions. Pick up or print a passport to start earning a Florence or McKenzie trackable today.
Oakridge/Westfir Edition passport will be available at this event. After the event, passports for all three editions will be available at the Eugene, Cascades & Coast Adventure Center in Springfield or printable from here.

Notes:
Due to a University of Oregon home football game on October 26, we encourage geocachers to make reservations early in Oakridge/Westfir.
Some sites on the Eugene, Cascades & Coast GeoTour- Oakridge/Westfir Edition require a National Forest Day Use Permit. Day Use Permits will be sold at the launch event for $5, cash only.
A limited number of Oakridge/Westfir coins will be available from 12-5:30 on Saturday October 26 and Sunday October 27 at the Brewer’s Union Local 180 for those who find the required number of caches. Oakridge/Westfir coins will be available at the Adventure Center October 26 while supplies last.
